Woman, Thou Art a Healer

Woman, Thou Art a Healer
What if you could channel the healing wisdom of generations past, and the guidance of the sunnah to heal your body, calm your mind and ignite your spirit? Good news. YOU CAN.

WOMAN, you are a healer.

In our current culture, health care has become more like “sick-care”, with the emphasis being more toward reactionary and often harsh and ineffective means of treating illness. No one stops to ask “why” we are so sick, and treatments often fail altogether to identify and address the root cause of our ailments – both physical and spiritual.

We are a world fast succumbing to illness – of the mind, body and spirit, and it will take the revival of a more Whol-istic approach, in order for us to have any hope of survival.

And believe it or not-YOU hold the key to repairing your body, balancing your emotions and igniting your soul – with the aid and guidance of Allah.

Yes, you.

You are a woman. Etched into your consciousness is the wisdom and strength of healers from generations past.

All of the women of the past and present are connected in a circle of knowledge, ritual, sisterhood, harvest and healing. However we have started to forget. The knowledge is not being passed down – or is being discounted, and we are suffering as a result.

For time immemorial women have passed down to each successive generation the knowledge of the healing arts and the immense power of cultivating a connection to Allah. Our healing lies in drawing nearer to Him, and utilizing the bounty He has placed within the earth- replete with its healing, cooling, life giving and enhancing, nurturing and regenerative gifts. Allahu Akbar!

But we have forgotten.

However, in true fashion to the ties that bind all women – some have preserved this knowledge.

Alhamdulillah, I have been blessed to learn from some of these carriers of healing wisdom, in addition to my own extensive studies, mashaAllah.  And I say blessed, because these are the women who feed and sooth, who heal communities and counsel individuals. Who birth babies and nurse the sick. They are the backbone of our community and those who quietly work in the background to ensure our continued health, vitality and connection, Bi’ithnillah. May Allah reward them abundantly.

And with this knowledge, we hope to launch a revolution, inshaAllah – and you are invited to step squarely onto center stage.

This is not a revolution of politics or arms, but a fight to reclaim your health, your spirit, and your peace of mind. InshaAllah, Woman by Nature was created a a vehicle of awareness, training, and resources to help you get off of the “sick care” wagon – to help cleanse your heart and reclaim your place as the pinnacle of creation.

Alhamdulillah, we have the ability to decrease the prevalence of the issues we struggle with – the obesity and depression, the anxiety and the neglect, the broken relationships and lowered iman. But it does take us stepping up to the plate.

You have more power than you know.
Unearth your inner Medicine Woman.

If you are underwhelmed by the current detached practice that constitutes healthcare, eager to play a more active role in your own well-being and long to increase your connection to Allah and integrate Islam into your day-to day actions, decisions and relationships – we are here to help inshaAllah.

Things are terribly broken. We are broken. It’s time to seek another way.

Your heritage awaits you.
